I'm currently looking at buying am 07 expy with 137,000 miles is this a good buy? I currently own a 98 F150 that's very dependable but not enough room anymore. Any advice on what to expect with these models would be great and how dependable they are. Thanks

It is definitely a buyer's market for big gas guzzling SUV's. We just bought my mom a 2000 for 1500 bucks. What is the KBB? I dont know what options it has otherwise I would look it up myself. That will tell you what appr. it should be worth and whether it is a good deal. Also visit the 3rd gen section and there is a thread at the top labeled "What to look for". It is worth a look through for things you should check for before forking out the cash.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. I don't see anything advertised within 2k of that in Houston, and the KBB is higher than that as well.

Actually, it may be too good a deal. Definitely get a CarFax report, and maybe have an inspection done for non-reported repairs.

Ask owner if he's had spark plugs and O2 sensors changed. That's not a bad deal if oils been changed on time and tranny is good. Got my 08 Limited from a private dealer for 18k and it had 80k on it....not bad. If he's the only owner he should have all receipts ;^)
