Howdy guys and gals, I'm new to the forum but not new to using forums. Just bought an '06 Expediton XLS for my wife and well I use it too so I thought I would jump on here and see what's what on these beasts. Its not the most perfect vehicle I've bought but it's a Ford. I miss having a Ford. After owning both a Pontiac and a Dodge I'm glad to be back in something that feel more like home. It sounds, feels and even drives like a long lost friend. I'm hoping to put a little work into it within the next year to make it a little better. Intake, exhaust, tune, guards, and hopefully an LSD. I've recently had to drive this 2wd in the snow and the diff in it certainly isn't cutting it. Even with chains I was having a little problem. I'll post a couple pics in the next post being I don't have any saved to photobucket as of yet.

I hope to be on here more often and pick your brains on tech pronlems and possible upgrades. Talk to ya soon.

The rims are just so common around here. A buddy has the same rims on his z71 suburban. Anybody have any ideas on an affordable air intake for the 5.4L?

Yeah I did a search on the Gotts Mod. It doesn't look very hard. Why do these engines have 2 filters on them? I've honestly never seen that before.
