Half Shaft

Have a 2008 4WD. CV Boot is torn so I'm going to replace the half shaft. I noticed on rockauto only the cheapest brand specifies 4wd but none of the other brands do.

Is there a difference between the half shaft for a 4wd and RWD or is it just marketing?

Is it one of the rear cv shafts with a ripped boot? If the parts you're looking at are for the front then you know that they're all for 4wd vehicles because 2wd does not have front half shafts.
