hard start

Expys been parked in the garage for a few months and i started it every couple of weeks with no problem...went to take it out of the garage and cranked no start...cycled the key a couple of times and it started...has done it twice since then...filter was changed...im thinkin fuel pump...is it possible with lack of use they can go bad? first problem she has ever given me in 3 years and 30k of use. suggestion on a replacement pump? dont want a cheapy...only want to do this once

Not sure on a "good" fuel pump... maybe ask Toms89? I know he upgraded his (to maybe a lightning one?) when he did the motor swap. He would know what fits, other than stock ford parts. It may also be the fuel pump relay causing this, I replaced 2 pumps in my mustang thinking they were the problem when it turned out to be the relay
