Help identifying brackets.

Any idea what these two brackets just hanging there are for? This is at the rear cross bar, behind the transmission and adjacent to the cats. They are threaded to accept a bolt but I have no idea for what. It's on a 2015 Expedition EL.

Just took a look under my 16 platinum EL and if I had to guess, I'd say there is supposed to be some type of skid plate attached there. At least that is what is there on mine. Hope this helps!

That was my thought as well but searches have come up with no information. I hate to call the Ford house as around here that's a real beating. Thanks for the input.

Edit 1.0 - I think I just found it and if anyone else is looking the part Number is FL1Z-5D032-1.

Is there a heat shield between the body and the cats? Cats get very hot, make for warm feet for passengers if that shield is missing.
