Hello folks, can someone please identify where this vacuum hose should be connected?

I have been having random stalls lately and wonder if this might be the culprit.

Thanks!

oh, it's a 2004 Eddie Bauer Exped 163k

Is it a 4x4 Expy ? Does the other end of the line go down to the front axle ? It may be the axle vent, and it just needs to be secured to the brake line coming off the Master cylinder.

It does seem to originate from the steering column, yes.

Well, it should be connected to the front axle, just secure it with a zip tie, so it's not flopping around and rubbing on the exhaust manifold. That end should just remain open so it can vent.

Ah ok got it.

I guess that can’t be causing my random stalling issue!

thanks for at least keeping me from going down a rathole!

No. No CEL, just pulling away from a red light, hit gas, stall. Usually starts right up.
Has happened maybe 3-4 times the last month or two. Investigated online and ordered a new evap purge to swap out and see if it helps.
