My truck sat for about 40 days, getting started maybe once( dont know was out of town)

Before it sat it would die right after starting unless I reved it, not every time tho. Now after sitting it will not stay started at all unless I keep my foot on the gas???

I replaced the battery and it's hitting any where from 12-14 volts on the meter, so I dont think it's electrical.

Whats a flue pump? :)

Might want to open air filter and make sure no critter has built a nest in there since it has been sitting for some time.

Also how old is your gas? Did it sit previous to this 40 days or was it driven regularly.

May try cleaning AIC valve and see if it helps.
