Help with Issue

I was sitting in my 2019 Expedition having lunch and reading. The car was in park and running as I had the air conditioning on. The car started moving forward (while still in park). I had to turn the car off to stop it from going forward. Any ideas on why this would happen?

None come to mind. No idea why the parking pawl released. You should have stopped it with the brake pedal &/or parking brake. Keep in mind, the parking pawl is not really designed to prevent a 6000 lbs. vehicle stationary, but the parking brake is.

What FlyBry said. If you were sitting on an incline...that will do it.
