Help!!!!!!!

So i just installed an aftermarket radio in my 04 xlt with rear seat entertainment. Evrything works fine but the radio wont turn off with the key out. Its constantly draining my battery. Please help me!!!!

Welcome to the site. How did you supply power to it? Did you run new power wiring?

No. I used a used a harness from metra. The afdi rse 01

Make sure you don't have your yellow and red power wires hooked up wrong on your aftermarket radio. The yellow needs to be hooked up to a constant 12 volts, whereas the red lead should be hooked up to a switchable 12 volts, that only powers with the key in the on, or accessory position.
