So my 02 Expedition started hesitating today out of the blue. I drove it to my wifes Dr.'s appointment and then around town a little bit, then when I started to head back home later in the afternoon it just started outta no where. I JUST, I mean two weeks ago, changed out all the spark plugs and the coil plugs, so those cant possibly be bad. So now Im just trying to figure out what could be causing it? I am hoping its something small and easy like a fuel filter, but I cant say for sure. With my limited knowledge Im just trying to think of things within the fuel system that can cause hesitation… Injectors, Fuel filter, fuel pump, maybe O2 sensors???
Anyone here have any ideas? If its not the usual suspects of the spark plugs and/or coil plugs, what can it be???

Went through the same problem for months along with some other members of this forum. Mine turned out to be bad injector and coil(s). I would try replacing the fuel filter first. Even if that's not it, it won't hurt it. If that doesn't fix it I'd clean the MAF. Clean throttle body. From there on its up to you. I bought a set of 8 re-manufactured injectors off ebay and it cost me $100 + they come with warranty. Maybe clean the egr valve. I believe there is a how to somewhere on here. could be any number of those damn egr parts. Let us know
