Hi there ladies and gents !
Hello from Windham, up here in the Catskill Mountains of N.Y
I have a '98 Eddie Bauer in black and tan livery. I bought it from a Mom n Pop
dealer in Feb 2008 for 9K. It was in very good shape with only 22000 miles.
We checked that number 3 times.. Genuine. Plus the condition of the whole vehicle backed it up. Looked like it had been sitting in a garage more than it had turned wheels. We were very happy with the find.
Both the wife and I have mostly bought Fords and this workhorse I have now is just about everything a family could need out of 4 wheels. Plus it's about as big as I want to pay gas for ! My wife's last Ford, a '99 Explorer literally went out with a bang last Jan'. Head on collision with a honda on rt 23 at a joint 110mph. The wife and kids walked out of it with minor abrasions and a nosebleed. (Thankyou very much Explorer designer, we owe you.)
