HID housings!!

What's up guys!! I've been looking at some pretty cool expeditions on here lately, and it's kind of made me want to buy myself a birthday gift! (11/10!!!) I made the mistake a couple months ago in buying some spyder halogen projector and led headlight assembly. They look beautiful and have lasted so far...but the light output sucks. If I'm not mistaken it takes a H7? It brights up pretty good along the sides, but the light dims near the middle of your vision. Which is where I need it the most lol. There's no actual way of adjusting these things.
So long story short. Can I buy some f150 lighting headlight assembly and just buy I guess any hid kit and install it right in without any modifications?

The retrofit source makes a replacement hid projector for this brand housing iirc.

Yup exactly.
You don't need new housing, just get one of these and stick them in.

Oh wow! that's a lot cheaper than my idea.
Would I have to customize my housing to fit those in? Or do they just plug right in?
Last question. I'm not too familiar with hids and how many watts the ballasts needs to be. All I know is that I want at least a 6000k white light. How many watts should the ballast be? And I would only like the low beams to be hid. Not my high beams.
My birthday is 2 days away. So I guess I'm getting HIDs quicker than I anticipated!

They are plug and play and kit comes with one ballast each side. If you don't want your high beams xenon which I don't know why you wouldn't. Just get the single beam H7 instead of hi-lo.
And the as far as the ballast wattage goes imo it doesn't make any difference to me but I'm sure others will disagree. And good call on the 6k bulbs.

the proper way would be to retrofit projectors. But with the cost of a proper bi-xenon and having to open up my housing, its not something I was willing to tackle. I went the quick and easy route of buying new housings and install bi-xenon HIDs.

In my case it went well. Although 9007 HID cutoffs are not as great as H4s, it provides a good amount of light AND does not glare as much as how other drivers put them on.

I only got 35W and chose the 5000K color. That way I dont cook the aftermarket headlamps with heat a 55W generates
