On January last I put Hikari eye of megatron low beam headlamps in my 2017 (non-projector). They seemed to be OK, brighter than OEM, though the pure white was a little off-putting. Today one of them became erratic, turning itself on and of at irregular intervals (headlights turned on). I suspect the fan died.

I would not recommend them. Right now the deer are moving around quite a bit, which is the reason I got them. O Well, back to OEM.

So I bought the auxito dual headlight set for my 17 expy and love them. Here is the link. I also bought SOCAL switchbacks cut the plugs off and bought the correct plugs for my front turnsignals.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you have about the lights. I am more than willing to help and or guide you through the switchbacks if you end up doing them. AND the socal switchbacks have resistors built in so you don't have to worry about hyperflashing which is nice. The only thing is if your expedition is originally a candian vehicle there is the possibility that the front turn signals are the Daytime Running Light which will kill the resistors - you would have to reprogram the body control module using forscan to fix that. Please contact me regarding any questions or concerns.

Bought a set of Sealights, low and high beams, 10K lumens per pair. Slight fitment issue with high beams, needed to rasp out a little of the ring where the dust cap fits on the housing. Bought them because no fan. Light is adequate for this high deer population area. Will they last? We'll see.

I have used sealight and they tend not to last. The high beam fitment is a slight issue with the auxitos but the dust cover still fits, but really you don't need the dust covers

Thank you for your (old but useful post) - this is exactly what I was looking for. Are they still functioning okay or did you sell the car?

Yeah they are still working to this day. Granted, being 3 plus years old now, my low beams are only half working (only one side of the led bulb is working) but otherwise, they are still going strong. The expedition is not my daily driver anymore. I use my F150 for work during the week and drive my expedition on the weekend but the lights still works great.
