For some reason the good on my 07 Expedition refuses to latch on on the first attempt. Normally it will latch on after 2 or 3 hard attempts. Anyone else have this problem? I sprayed it with some WD40 but didn't help much.
Hood does not latch on.

Check the positioning of the latch. It may have shifted slightly. This happened on my old F150.

Check the rubber stops on either side. Turn them down a little see it that helps.
