Hood stuck on 01 expedition!PLEASE HELP

i have a 01 expedition my battery is dead and i cannot get my hood unstuck..ive tried pushing the latch with a screwdriver having someone pull while i pull n pry with all my might and nothing.please help

have you tried pushing the hood down while working the latch as well as pull the latch inside the cab... try pushing down on the hood to relieve some pressure on the latch
