Horse Trailer wiring

We have a ~3500lbs horse trailer that we use to pull with a 4Runner 06 V8. We didn't have any issues and all lights were working. Although after changing for an Expedition 07 the lights inside the trailers don't work, but everything outside works fine (brake controller, turning lights, etc...)

Do I need to put that big fuse under the hood? I don't remember exactly which one it is.

Anybody got any experience with this?

First, I'd get out a meter and check the connections at the trailer plug. That way you can tell if the issue is on the vehicle or the trailer.
