use a Prestige alarm system to activate interior lights when I deactivate the alarm to enter the trk.???? In other words, when I am in the truck running and I shut it off the interior lights come on and time out, With the VSM on the trk not working right, how do I hook the After market alarm system into the lighting circuit to activate the interior lights when you enter the vehicle??? There must be a way...............also I have a gen 2 (2003) keep getting ck back up aid intermittently and it will and won't work at times any ideas?? thanks red423

my truck does that...its part of the expedition timing...it wont kill ur battery so it will be fine...i have a viper 5704 remote start/alarm and it goes off after 15 secs...normal

when I hit unlock on my alarm key pad how do i activate the interior lights????
Where do i connect the alarm circuits to the truck to activate courtesy lights with an after market alarm system??????????

I can but.............

I am using the negative pulse for the door locks already from the alarm, tied into the circuit under the drivers side door threshold. where can I tie that into the interior lights to trigger the lights to come on????? my schematics show an orange/ lg from the main siwtch that will activate the dome lite which activates the timer, is this true??? I'll try and post a schem of the alarm later today.
