Hi guys, I'm gonna confess I don't own a ford expedition, my mom does. I own and have done all maintenence and modifications on my 1987 Trans Am and 1989 RX7. I'm home for the summer so I thought I could help my mom out by changing her tranny lines. The thing is, both of my cars and standard and do not have tranny lines, which is why I'm asking if anyone knows how to change them. Thanks, and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Nope I mean tranny lines, they're only on automatic transmissions, they carry the tranny fluid from under the hood of the car to the torque converter and the transmission. This is what I believe they do, note that I have never owned and have only driven an automatic car once when my friend was freakign out because he was afraid of driving on the highway.

you dont need to change the lines inless the are leaking. if that is the case you can get some rubber hose where it is leaking and cut the bad part out and patch the hole. thats all you do when you add a aftermarket tranny cooler the lines. but if you just have todo is flush and change the fluid all you have to do is go get the pan gasket and the filter and new fluid and a drain pan and draind the old and change the filter and put the pan and new gasket on and put the new fluid in it and your all done and well your at it you could do a oil change and a diff oil change too
