Nov 2005, bought our used, Hertz rental 2005 Expy XLT 4WD with 17K for $24,000. Had the leather seat upgrade. Drove it up to three weeks ago where it was totaled out by the insurance company after a woman made an inproper left turn into us. 205K miles of great service to our family. Insurance gave us $6900 given its better than average upkeep. Bent in the left frame tip/buckled the radiator-it didnt lose a drop-drove it home, no problem.

Picking up our new, used, one owner, 2009 Expy XLT EL 4WD (leather, convenience package), tomorrow. 63K miles, $18,300. Will zero out any maintence, 3/2 lift and AT tires

2000 Eddie Bauer.

192xxx miles.

Sister and her husband bought a new truck. They knew they wouldn't get anything for it.

Got it for FREE! They gave it to me. Needed a little work but knew I could do it.

277xxx miles later and still driving it!

Can anyone beat that? Lol.

I was wrong. 197xxx miles .

Don't get me wrong, I've had to put work into it. The only thing that doesn't work is the ac. Few things need tweaked and rebuilt but I still dd this at 13.5 +/- mpg.

97 5.4 XLT, 225K miles, white with a weird green color interior, rust on door bottoms and a dead cylinder, drove it 100 miles home at 70+ mph been sitting over a year...$275 to drive away with it!! Need quite a bit of TLC at the moment but not a bad deal

This is probably more than anyone want to know... 2005, 2WD XLT with 164k miles. Purchased August 2016 for $3500 and then...I stopped counting after $11,000 in repairs and service to keep it going for the past 12 months and 10k miles. NONE of the issues I've faced showed up on the 2 extensive test drives I took. Not sure how the private party seller masked everything, but they did a good job. On way home after purchase it began...2 coils, cam phasers, lifters, chain, cat converters, rear end, front hub, plugs, tranny service... Bought the truck for a family purpose that no longer exists, but I'm in too deep to ditch it now. Despite all this I actually like the size of the truck and I'm hoping that after all these repairs/services it will keep going for another 3-4 years so my middle child will have something to drive locally.

Similar story with mine, I paid $5000 and I have well over $10000 into mine in maintenance/repairs and modifications now it's impossible to get rid of it

99 Eddie Bauer, 2wd. 243,000 miles, $2500. Put a little money into to fix shocks, brakes and vacuum leaks. Fixed rear windshield wiper motor and vent window. I upgraded my exhaust to flowmaster with duals. (not needed) Of course i put about $1000 into a navigation stereo system. (not needed either) I have already taken a road trip of about 3500 miles on it. It is pretty much my daily driver. Saving a ton of miles on my Kia Soul. But I am having miles of smiles.

Paid 4,500 in Feb. for 2003 EB 5.4 4x4. 68,000 miles. Only thing so far is just shy of $1K for new tires and alignment. Love it so far. Pretty much my daily driver.
