How to activate built in Wi-Fi ?

Hi everybody

So it’s been almost 4 months since we purchased our expedition and I knew I would come time where I would Activate the Wi-Fi I’m not sure where to start? is it the phone provider? which is in Canada Rogers or is it through the dealership I’m kind of confused anyone out there activated this feature of the vehicle or not yet

In the US you get three months or 3gb free, whichever is first. The provider here is ATT. This may help.

Def AT&T....you can get unlimited for 20 bucks a month. Think I read where you have to have a data plan in order to let the Sync3 update itself also.

activated mine few days ago, pretty straight forward through your ford app. once you sign up, you are activated for 3 month or 3gb. I think it was AT&T for Canada as well.

If you have the friends and family or whatever ATT calls it now you can add it to that and it’s $10 a month. We use it and I feel like the vehicle has a better antenna than my phone.

Sync can be updated via WiFi or USB as long as you have a MyFord or Sync account.
