Take a good look at the caps. They are not meant to be unscrewed. They are built like a tamperproof screw you see in restrooms.

This. Those are the filler caps from the manufacturer, not maintenance ports.

I know I'm repeating some of the comments but, AGMs are sealed and will vent(one way out) if the battery is over charged. They are not made to be "topped off" with anything. If your vehicle charging system repeatedly over charges and vents the pressure(along with gases) eventually you loose enough of the electrolite(gases) and the battery no longer will take a charge. It's one thing to have an old battery go bad as it nears its end of life but if a newer battery goes bad it may be the charging system.
