How to remove upper console '04 Eddie Bauer

Hi,
I want to replace the rear vent windows switch on my '04 Eddie Bauer edition. There are no screws so assume it pops off? Where are the clips located? Dont want to break it!

Here's the long version ( Expy without sunroof ....). It just pulls down.

I never found any fasteners when looking at mine, short version with sunroof. I gave up not wanting to break it either. I suspect it's just secured like the version posted by Hamfisted.

I wanted to remove the rear view mirror wires since I have replaced that awful POS electrochromic mirror with the old flip style from an F-150. I just tied the wired on behind the mirror, they can't be seen anyway.
