How to tell 110amp from 130 amp alternator?

Best bet is to call the dealer with your vin

I typed my vin# in the following link and it listed replacements "same as original 130 amp"

Might try it and see if it identifys your stock alt...

Doubt there are any visual clues. I also tried to read part # off my original alt and it was illegible.

Can always PM tasca here with your vin# and see if he can help?!

Might not matter so much, the lights I was going to mount behind the grill have an appetite for the grills themselves (Tim Allen would have been proud!). I think I am going to shelve the project.....
