Just bought a 2019 Expedition Max and I am thinking about doing something to protect the paint. I know it is a 7 year old car, but the vehicle has pretty low mileage (77k) and paint is great. The main reason for this is that I will have to park under some trees for about another 8 months while I live here and I am worried the zap will damage the paint like it did on my current car although I have been parking here 3 years now and both cars are white. What should I expect to pay for PPF? I am most interested in protecting the hood and roof since this is most exposed. I live in Florida and don't have to worry about sand on the roads like other places. Does ceramic coating protect against zap? I don't have a lot of zap by the way, but it is enough that it has affected my current car. Are there any other alternatives that you can recommend for my situation? How effective against zap is it to wash the car frequently, for example every week?
