The owner wasn't surprised to say the least, he took it lightly and accepted to match the offer which i refused due to the fact that i truly want more field work which he can't match.

That's good. It is always better to move one once you decide it's time to go. I've seen too many people accept a counter offer and then get let go a few months later. I'm glad he took it well and again congratulations!

Hi John, I'm glad that I could help.

There are two ways that I know of to follow a thread 1. reply to it and you are automatically following it and 2. at the top of the page on the right hand sided right above the first post it says Watch Thread - click that. You can follow a Forum the same way as a thread, at the top of the forum, click the watch forum link in the upper right hand side above the first post. You will get notified of all new posts to the forum. To follow a person Click on their name under their profile picture and then click follow in the little box that pops up its toward the top near the right hand side. I follow a few people but honestly I've never gotten a message saying they posted something unless it's in a thread that I'm following.
