The Blackwoods were Ford's answer to the Escalade. But, like NVYCRMN said, they were a little too high priced for what people were willing to pay. Ford only made them for a few years and then conceded to GM that market.

No one wanted a damn bed with carpet and brushed aluminium in it.

I worked at a LM dealership at the end of the production run of those things. Even at $10,000 off sticker, no one wanted them.

they look like crap and the carpet bed was the down fall. also the cover was a pain in the ass to take off. and it only lifted like 50 degrees up, so you couldnt haul anything.
