I dropped the fuel tank on my 2011 XLT 2WD and I do not see a fuel filter anywhere. Where would it be?

I dropped the fuel tank on my 2011 XLT 2WD and I do not see a fuel filter anywhere. Where would it be? All of the videos and pictures I have looked at show it on the front or side of the fuel tank and there is not anything in sight.

I believe it's integrated into the pump/sender unit inside the tank.

1. The fuel tank(s) has a fuel filter that is part of the Fuel Pump (FP) module and cannot be serviced separately from the FP module.

Thank you. I kept getting worried, when every video showed an external fuel filter and I did not have one.

Sounds about right, I went by some instructions and bought a fuel filter for my 2009 Expy... went down there to change it and the dang thing wasn't there.

Had a Gator L too for a while (2011? 2012? something like that) and it didn't have one either.

People are lazy and just write crap in manuals a lot of the time, assuming that nothing ever changed from some prehistoric model year.

Sorry off topic but where did you get your service manual from? I’ve been looking for a Digital copy for my 2011 all over and cannot find the actual one.
