I really wish he would swing back and report in. One of my interests is how much his springs/shocks compressed from the added weight--b/c I am adding Bilstein 5100 shocks that give 1.5 inches of lift--but if 75 pounds extra on the nose will compress that lift by an inch, I will go with the F150 shocks to raise the nose higher to counter it...

You could hang a 35 lb bar bell from each tow hook and it would give you a pretty good idea of the squat.

Not to be a smartass, but how much does it compress when you lean and put pressure on the front of the vehicle. Im sure you could easily mimic 75lbs, to get you a rough idea of what you would be looking at.

No-offense taken Suomy. Just hard to measure the exact weight, exact measured compression, etc. I will try it today w/75-80 lbs of weight (carefully) with before/after measurements.

I have a pusher bar on mine. If I stand on it (ahem, a bit more than 200lbs) I can get the suspension to move maybe 1/4 inch if I jump on it (it is a bit cold this morning, so the suspension juice hasn’t warmed up).

My 2020 FX4/HD tow (only options) with 11K miles as measured empty, full tank of gas.

Opened the hood and added exactly 70 pound of dumbells, very carefully over the radiator section straddling the hood latch with wooden spacers to prevent crushing and to spread the weight better.

Suspension compressed almost exactly .25 of an inch, as measure at the bumper.

For any other years, suspension systems/lifts, coil spacers, non-FX4, etc., YMMV...

Alhrir, I wish there were more pics lol.
I think there is also an intercooler relocation kit that some have made/bought and considering it is hot all the time there maybe a larger IC might help too.
I wish pulling the nose cone was an easy affair, I'd love to set my amateur engineering brain on this one, maybe try to get some more air to the cooler or add a fan or two...

Did you upgrade the battery?
