I finished installing warn VR 12-S winch on Expedition 20 and I wanted it to be hidden inside the member

The choice was warn VR 12-S

Welcome Alhrir! Please tell us what it took to accomplish this, as there are many here seeking this as an option. And please provide more pictures

Research shows with synthetic rope, it weighs 55 lbs--but I am interested in suspension compression as well.

FWIW it weighs 72 LB with the synthetic rope. Also looks like there is some cutting, and I don't know about what gets air fed from that area?

here are some pics with just the bumper cover removed that might help give an idea, of what would need to be cut.

So cutting of that top lip (is it metal or plastic) and for sure blocking some major portion of the lower radiator.

The top lip is plastic, in the OPs original post it sure looks like some brackets were welded into place.

I really wish he would swing back and report in. One of my interests is how much his springs/shocks compressed from the added weight--b/c I am adding Bilstein 5100 shocks that give 1.5 inches of lift--but if 75 pounds extra on the nose will compress that lift by an inch, I will go with the F150 shocks to raise the nose higher to counter it...
