I have a 99 5.4 l I'm trying to get back on the road. It has a strong crank but no start issue. I checked fuel pump power & pressure at the rail. Both good but checked fuel pump relay & had to replaced it. Started up fine. I let it run for twenty minutes or so & went in for the night. Next morning I'm back at good crank no start. Test brand new relay & it's bad. Check relay & fuse box for melted plastic. It all looks perfect. What is popping this relay? STUMPED!
