My vehicle was bought new as a Police vehicle. The department I bought it from removed the Police Radio console.
I have a center console and mount for my 98 Expedition that has never been mounted. It has been wrapped in plastic since new with all the original hardware.
It has the rear radio and A/C controls (air ducting in the mount).
I almost hate to use it since it is in brand new condition and, with the prisoner partition, all those rear controls are worthless to me. Especially because it will eventually get scuffed up between my gun rubbing on it and me throwing handcuffs in the tray. I'll probably mount a flexable light to the side, so that will leave screw holes.
I am debating selling it and either buying a used one, OR building one to accomidate a police radio and some other stuff I will need in my "rolling office".
I am not sure what to ask for it, or if there would even be any interest in a brand new 10 year old console.
What do you guys think?
