Alright so I got a flat the other day and there is no warranty on my tire according to goodyear, I dont want to pay 200 bucks for a new tire when Im planning on getting 35's soon. Anyways while I was trying to lower my spare tire.......the cable frayed so long story short my flat tire has been sitting in the cargo area of my expyy. I got an idea to push my roof racks together and then bolt the spare tire up top and put a few lights up therre while im at it. What do you guys think?

Why carry the spare unless you are away from home? I leave mine in the garage unless I go out of town. Have enough people I can call on if I really need it, or can just limp it home.

I think it would be a huge pain to get down. But then again I'm 5'5" and feel like I need a step ladder to reach my running boards sometimes.
