I couldn't believe those 30% idle hours, so I checked mine.

1009 engine hours / 101 idle hours. So 10%.

I'll never complain about Calgary traffic or my commute again...

You guys haven't lived until you dealt with (Washington) DC traffic. It's THE worst I've EVER driven in, and getting worse all the time. I've never seen anything like it. To be fair, I've never dealt with LA or SAN traffic.

I've dealt with NYC, L.A./SOCAL & DC traffic. DC/NOVA/Beltway has the worst make you want to put it in park and punch a guard rail traffic I have ever known! So glad I don't live/have a reason to drive through that anymore. (I have lived in 8 states | DE, MD, VA, SC, FL, CT, CA, GA | Military )

Agreed.
I’ve lived all over the Atlantic coast states ( also former military). Northern Virginia/ D.C. is beyond belief. I’ll take NYC or Atlanta any day, all day over that.
Currently in the Charlotte metro area and it’s not bad at all compared to many cities.

That should give you the engine and tranny temp

I have a 2019. I have seen that some codes are not working on 2020 as an FYI. But then again, I have not been in the FORScan group in a while (May-June timeframe maybe).

I ended up shutting the distance alert feature off again. I rarely drive without ACC on, so it wasn’t helpful for me.

There is stuff I turned on that I can’t remember what is stock and what is not.

I have a mini spreadsheet that I kept where I put in the stock setting and then my new setting. That way if I either did not like something or it messed up anything, I could go in and revert back easily.

Problem is, I can’t remember where I saved that spreadsheet. LOL! I also kept a notebook with some of that information so I was able to pull the code for the temps from it.

I love the temp setting, though. Since I tow, I like to keep an eye on it and not have to have a specific screen up. I can have my personal default one and the temps are still there for me to reference.

Sorry to stray a bit from the OP's question but this issue has been a concern of mine for maybe 50 years.

Why do we let vehicles idle for no apparent reason? If the temperature is 73 F, is it necessary to leave it running with the AC on? If it is 71F, do you leave it running with the heater on? Yes, those are exaggerations but it sometimes seems that extreme. But, really, are we that delicate that we can't survive a few moments until the AC/heater kick in?

It wastes gas and pollutes the air when we do it. How much more simple can it get?

if you are concerned about that, you bought the wrong vehicle. A really wrong vehicle.

Checked mine last time out. 112 and 43 idling. Saw it when I first got it. Think it was 69 and about 30 then. Had been shuttled between the dealers two stores a lot I was told so it had about 250 miles on it. Maybe was test driven some and they spent a lot of time showing features? Like all day?
