I have a 2005 Ford expedition. with the 5.4 liter motor. just replaced motor with new one. Everything fit great, and went smooth. went to start and have N0 power from the ignition side of the starter, will click every so often but basically NO power. Very confused. Have double checked all connections, and changed starter. All lights come on, and do not dim when trying to crank. Is there a rest or a safety I haven't done? Please help if possible Brian

Nothing like the transmission range sensor out of adjustment or anything like that right ? The reverse lights come on when you put it in Reverse like they're supposed to right ? ( Key ON ).
Are you getting a good 12v on the heavy red wire down at the starter? Trace back up to the starter relay and see if you're getting good voltage there. It's the R01 relay in the fusebox in the passenger side kick panel. You can swap it with a useless ones like R05 just to see if it works.
