In need of some help!

I have had my truck for years now and every year the engine light comes on. This year I have no idea what is going on. It has run out of gas on me a few times but is reading a quarter of a tank everytime. I have replaced the complete fuel pump three different times. I am not sure what it could be. Was told it might be a fuel pump harness connector. Need some help anyone got any ideas for me...just let me know. Thanks

First thing is take it to autozone, O'reilly's, etc, and have them pull the code on their OBD reader. That will give you a starting point

Thanks but I have done that many times already and I keep getting the same answer, that it was my fuel pressure sensor but I have already replaced that several times.

So what's the code being thrown?

I am new here but if someone has the voltages for the wiring back there it would be good to check, also check for shorts/continuity in the wiring by hooking up to a multimeter and wiggling all that wiring. Probably should be done with the pump assembly unplugged.
