I'm experiencing it badly. Just started to be more prominent about two weeks ago. I have no idea what fluids to buy, and I don't have much knowledge about the 2002 AWD models. It's Eddie Bauer 5.4L.

If I could get a few words of advice in regards to the fix for it, I would be Greatly appreciative!!

It's cold! And I'll be outside in it with a bullet heater heating the wide open blowing at me. I don't want to be in it for long.

I've never heard about this rubbing. How about some more info.

I'm assuming that its the u-joints... kind of like a rubbing/rumbling/grinding type of noise. Only does it on acceleration from a stop. When it does it, I can gas it up past15-20mph and it doesn't continue to do it. When I turn it will also do it and more prominently. Everything I've found, is either the torque converter or the u-joints
