Information display brightness

Known defect. Just the way it is. I know some factory guys as I live near the Louisville assembly plant. Ford is aware, And they don't care.

Not a dimmer switch defect. The old style display just gets dimmer with age. Nothing you can do to fix it other than replace it and best I can tell you have to replace the whole instrument cluster. Have not been able to find a replacement display. My 2009 is also hard to see in the daylight. Luckily nothing on the display I need to see that can't wait til it's dark outside :rolleyes:
