Check out this guys gen 2. Its got the Truxxx lift and 315/70X17r. If his fit mine should too. My new wheels have the same backspacing as his so I'm a little more hopeful now.
I love his homemade fender flares! I wish I could buy some.

I need to talk to this guy and see if he would make another set of those! And I know with my leveling kit the company sent me F-150 instructions for the front and I thought no big deal but I ended up completely disconnecting my upper ball joints/control arms IAW the F-150 instructions. Didn't need to and it just ended up being a pain in the ass.

Finally Done!

IMAG0155.png

Everything went well. It took me most of the day but I got it done.
As soon as I get a moment I'll post all the pix and explain the process.

Here is the Process

Here is the new spacer IMAG0145.png
Insert the new bolts. IMAG0144.png
Jack up the Expy from the differential using a floor jack. With another floor jack support the front hub.
Remove the Lower strut bolt and this black rod shown in front of the strut. Take the nut off of the upper ball joint allowing you to lift the upper control arm out of the way. IMAG0141.png
Finnish removing the strut by removing the three nuts on top. IMAG0142.png
Once the strut is removed return the strut into the lower bracket and lean it out so you can access the top. insert the lower bolt loosely. Place the spacer on top of the strut and torque the nuts down tight. IMAG0146.png
Now just bolt everything back up the way it came apart. Remember to torque everything to speck. When you put the strut on it helps to get the top nuts on first and leave them loose until the bottom bolt is inserted. You have to lower the jack supporting the hub and push down on the hub to get the bottom strut bolt lined up. IMAG0140.pngIMAG0139.png
The rear is the same as the front. I took some pix but just deleted them cause it was so similar.
Some advise is to have a good breaker bar for the lower strut bolt. It helped me to have a small pry bar to help line up the holes when replacing the lower strut bolt, it takes some force.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and encouragement. This has been a long process getting the correct parts and tools. It took a lot of planning and work but it was all worth it. I love my expedition!

I did have to do a small amount of trimming. It now only rubs against the inner fender when I am turning in reverse. I will trim it up tomorrow and post a couple more pix of that modification. Maybe 35's are a little much.
