Interlock Release?

Hi All,
I'm having no luck with a search, but looking for that video or tips on how to shift from park when the the gearshift is locked in park. It's a floor (console) shift, and I hear it clicking under the dash. I'll check on the brake switch under the dash (I did find that tip), but I'd like to be able to shift to drive in the meantime. 2014 EL LTD w/V-8

As a follow up, I was able to find what I was thinking elsewhere, by accessing through the little covered port next to the gearshift lever. My problem turned out to be a bad brake light switch. Quick & easy job, less than $40 and all is good...
