Intermittant Odometer

Anyone have any suggestions for an intermittant odometer coming on and going off? It is keeping the mileage but just goes on and off whenever it feels like it. The other thing that I noticed is the "Door Ajar" light has come on and all the interior lights are on. I checked every door and there were no doors open. Sometimes it goes off immediately after starting up and some times it takes driving for 10 to 20 seconds before it decides to go off. Wondering if these two electrical things can be related. Any info would be great. Thanks

For the door ajar, try spraying some WD-40 in the door latches. The sensor might be sticking.

oh cool, thanks for the idea. I will try that this morning. Anyone have any experience with the odometer digital readout problem? I'm hoping it's nothing too expensive to fix. Thanks again
