iOS App Battery Drain Issue

I got my 2018 Expedition Limited last November. I got the Ford app for my phone, and it worked fine. A month or so later, my phone started running hot and draining the battery in a few hours. I looked at the battery usage, and the Ford app was clearly the culprit. I deleted the app, and the problem cleared up. I read somewhere that it is a known issue and that Ford was supposedly working on a fix.

Does anybody know if Ford has updated the app yet?

I never noticed the issue in my case, but they did send updates to this via the Ford app... looks like as of 12/23/20 it was fixed so you might try again.
