it just puts a crap load more weight on the front than it was designed for. as long as you upgrade the shocks and don't leave it on your truck for a long time you should be alright. I've never had to use one seeing as though the only thing i would be using a plow for would be cactus around here.

IMO it is hard on your truck, depending on how much plowing you do, you can expect trans issues later on. My choice is buy a $1000 POS truck with a plow on it allready and you still come out cheaper than buying a new plow and having it mounted, plus you save the wear and tear on your Expy. If you are only using on your property you really dont even need to insure it or license it (at least not here in MN.)
