I really need your guys help in locating a front parking sensor /fog lamp harness for my 2012 Expedition Limited. I’ve looked and looked for one at no success. I bought a wrecked Expedition and that is all that I am lacking to complete repair. Thank you guys in advance.

Thanks for your reply WEDGE. The thing is that even the dealership can’t get a hold of them anymore. I’ve checked for them with that part number and they’ve told me that they are on back order or even discontinued. Tus the reason I’m looking for a used one. I’ve been to plenty of junkyards and it seems like mine is the only one that came with front parking sensors, lol . I’ve been thinking of making my own but I would at least need a wiring diagram.

Well crap, that's true, Ford doesn't seem to have any supply of them right now. Good luck in your search!

I don’t know how Ford gets away with that. It is completely illegal to discontinue parts and harnesses for vehicles that are newer than 10 years old if they have not made a superceded part.

Like they care. I've run into the same issues for the same system since I'd like to add it.

I sent an email to Lakeland Ford since their site is showing it available with a superseded part number that's the same as the old one. Will post their reply.

In 2017 I went to the dealer to purchase a 4WD switch. They gave me one and I opened it and it was the 15-17 style.....I said I don’t want a 15-17 switch it didn’t look right. They said the oem part was discontinued, when I told the parts counter that is technically illegal since the 07-14 knob was not an old enough part to discontinue he back stepped and said they were on back order from the supplier. I ended up finding stock somewhere else but ended up not needing it anyway as the issue was elsehwere.

I'll break down CL1Z-15K867-A
The CL1Z indicates Expedition.
The 15K867 indicates the basic part, in this case, a front bumper sensor harness
The A is the revision.

DG9Z-15K867-B is the same part for a Ford Fusion.
9C2Z-15K867-AA is the same part for a E-Series van
AL7Z-15K867-A is the same part for a Lincoln Navigator. I'd probably be comfortable with using this on an Expedition.

AL7Z-15K867-A shows available on RearCounter.com at a Ford specialist in Chattanooga TN called KC Motor Co. (561) 722-6208 $37.88 + shipping

https://www.rearcounter.com/AL7Z-15K867-A-parts564793.html

Amazon also shows several from 3rd party sellers for $50+ including shipping, and possibly the option for painless return if incase there is something completely different between the Navigator and Expedition front parking sensors. I don't have them so....

I agree, the Lincoln harness is most likely the same. There are a few available still through Ford.

Here's what I received from Lakeland Ford: "Thank you for the request. It does not look like this product is discontinued but it also is not readily available, the part is on nationwide backorder at this time and cannot be provided in a timely fashion. My apologies for this inconvenience."
