Jerking And Hesitation

I have a 2003 Expedition XLT 4X4, when i start it first thing in the mornings it jerks or hesitate when put in gear. It only does this first thing in the morning and when its cold. If the weather is nice no problem. Any idea whats's up with this.

I have a 2003 Expedition XLT 5.4, when i first start it up in the morning and put it in gear i have a slow hesitation or stutter, once it warms up its fine. This only happens when the truck is cold, or first thing in the morning. Is this normal or am I looking at future problems with the Transmission.
