Same problem, sort of...

The same thing has been happening with my 05 EB. It kinda sputters at low rpms, but when I get up to speed, it runs smooth. Can't accelerate too fast or it jerks heavily. CEL blinks when I accelerate hard too. It threw a code for cylinder two and I've replaced that plug twice in the past 6 months. Planning on changing the coil for that one too, but if that's not the fix, what else could it be? Having thoughts that something may be in the engine block causing the misfire.

Just a suggestion But anytime you just change a plug it's a good idea to change the boot. It's an inexpensive part to replace and I have had the experience of learning the hard way as I had a boot that had a pin-hole in it and caused a misfire. Depending on which cyl., it is a PITA and more of a PITA if you have to do it twice. Also good idea to use dialectic grease on the coil wire

Thanks man! It was cylinder 2 that was misfiring the first time. After I changed the plug, it ran well for about 5 1/2 months, then it started misfiring again. Took it to read the codes and it said the sane thing. Changed it again along with the boot and it ran good for a couple of weeks. Finally took it to a mechanic and he said my number 2 and 4 coils needed to be replaced.
