Just bought a 2000

Hi guys, glad to be here. Just got a 2000 with 80k and wonder if you could tell me about the air ride system. Looks way expensive if it breaks. How long do they last? How much to fix?

Yes, they break and are expensive, do a search on replacement coil overs

Keep the air suspension, the ride is fantastic. A new compressor is $219.00 the rear air bags are $300.00 both at O'Rielly's the front air shocks are $119.00 each at NAPA and all of it is an easy install.

yes they fail, and are problematic i just converted mine but mine sees off road and such if it was a pavement princess i would have fixed the air ride
