I just rolled over 200K on my 2010 Expedition L this week. I have put a 135K on it in 4 years. Put a fresh set of tires, 3rd Set from Discount Tire, on Black Friday. I need to get 60K more out of it! I need to get a new motor for the Running Boards, recover my seat, and a fresh steering wheel would be awesome, but the budget does not allow right now.200k.jpg

Congratulations! Mine is a 2012 and has 212k on it now. I'm hoping to keep it to 300k if it remains economical to do so.

I’m at 159,400 miles hoping to run her right to 300k congrats!! These 5.4s will outlast the truck if you keep up on them.

If I'm doing my math right your getting somewhere around 67,500 per set. That's really good mileage. What brand of tires are you using? I'm only at 117,000 on a 2003 Eddie Bauer and may have to invest in a set. Thanks

I run 20" Michelin Defender Ltx M&S and can get 60k from them. I run 37 psi and have them rotated with every oil change between 5 and 7.5k miles.

Almoooost 250k on my 04 5.4L 2V, no odd noises, ticks or knocks. Just did oil pan gasket and filter adapter gasket as well as coolant flush last oil change. The reason ABS light is on is due to needing to change PCM and central junction box, dick bag mechanic did all the needed re programming to pcm except the god dammed VIN... MIL is because i hit the gov the other night :fish_h4h:

I have 173,000 on my 2003. Lots of life left and my son will be getting it to drive next December when he turns 16.

Haven't decided yet on what to get next. What is the best used vehicle option for the money? Thoughts?

  • I've made sure that the fluid changes are done at required intervals and have racked up a bit over 323K miles with no problems. The 5.4 engines seem to go forever. I've had my 2000 EB since new, and after this long a time don't see ever letting it go.
