Hello everyone, I'm looking forward to learning from this forum and sharing some of my knowledge with all of you.
I have a ’99 EB 5.4 A4WD. At 75K miles I had to have the transmission rebuilt! I was towing a boat and the tranni fluid dumped out on the road. The one good thing is I had a shift-kit installed during the rebuild. The air bags had bad leaks and needed to be replaced around 95K so I installed a Strutmasters stiff suspension kit.
I have 128,000 mi. and I just changed the serpentine belt, idler pulley, tension pulley, spark plugs, fuel filter and other misc parts. I enjoy my truck and I plan to get a lot more use out of it. I plan to upgrade the wheels to a more aggressive tread, install a dual exhaust system (straight back), and change out the intake.
Any suggestions on some good manufactures would be appreciated.
