Am I the only one who would prefer the stone gray on the sides as wells below the grill? It seems like a King Ranch lite approach. I do like it, maybe a more modern take but I was looking forward to seeing it with the side cladding in stone gray.

Looks like King Ranch and Platinum have the same wheels. Maybe they’ll paint the centers and pockets differently on King Ranch vs Platinum.

According to the order guide you're spot on. The only different I can see if the center cap.

Not sure how I feel about the wheel design tho. I would have loved to see a machined/painted version of the 18-19 Platinum wheels.

I think they should have left the Platinum wheel alone, and used the new wheel on the King Ranch. I like how they used the darker (Mesa) King Ranch leather color on the Expedition compared to the orangish color they use in the pickups. I ordered a ‘20 Platinum yesterday, but if my wife likes the King Ranch I could be swayed to change.

I never liked the two tone approach on the sides of the KR, so I’m glad they aren’t going that route. Personal opinion, nothing against all you folks that love the look.

I am really surprised they’re going with 22s given the Plati is supposed to be the fancy city version and the KR is supposed to be the fancy country version; 22s do not scream “rugged and capable in a pasture.”

Personally not a fan, agree that it looks better than the two tone I’ve seen before though. It looks like nicer wood on the center console.

I'm not sure on the wheels, need to see them in person but the rest looks good for the KR that Ford probably needed to complete the lineup (for 2020 at least).

It's not for me, but I'd bet they will sell a ton of these.

A question no one seems to want to ask, but I'm new here, so I will... Why is the troll/clown above tolerated in the forum? He openly despises the 4th gen expy but is allowed to hijack 4th gen threads like this with comments like the above "what the gay?" complete with a pink icon holding a sign with limp wrist???

That is not OK anywhere, but is tolerated here. It's 2019.... I do not get it. Is it just me that sees how offensive that is? It's not clever and not entertaining. It is immature and inappropriate and reflects badly on the forum as a whole which is unfortunate because outside of 16Plati's incessant nonsense, I think this forum is great.

I wouldnt be surprised if they tried it (probably why it took so long to bring it back) but couldnt get the look cohesive enough to appeal to test buyers. In the end they prolli were just like, its good enough this way. I like it and if i could id get one.

There is more two tone going on than we can see in their product picture too. Here is a quote.

“Expedition King Ranch sports unique style inside and out. Elegant Stone Gray paint on the grille mesh, power-deployable running boards, rear bumper skid plate, trailer hitch cover, roof-rack side rails and side mirror caps immediately distinguish it as a King Ranch.”

Honestly they should just keep the king ranch in the f series. Nobody is gonna be using this as a ranch/farm truck. Only thing I like is the two tone paint scheme and I agree they should’ve redone an entire new KR wheel design

Wifey loves interior. Wish they put multicontour seats in, i mean the price premium constitutes it. Agree they shouldve done a new wheel for the plat and kept the wherl chrome or shiny for plat. The 2020 config is up, colors arent accurate but the burgundy ext will look great with the accent

Check the username...I'm an Aggie...a marroon interior is a-ok in my book. ;)

....you, sir or madam, are under the false impression that all present have some notion of what an aggie is.

Alas, I do not. And I doubt I'm alone in this.
