Pulled a lean code off bank 2 sensor 1. Replaced this sensor a year ago so I figure this code is from a vacuum leak somewhere. I couldn't find a leak anywhere and figured I'd change the PCV valve while I had stuff apart.

The valve pulls right out of the crankcase housing, didn't even need to twist it or anything. The hose that runs out of the valve came off no problem. I cant get the valve itself out because there is a retaining clip holding it to two fuel hoses. I learned they are fuel lines the hard way.

Could anyone give me some insight on how to remove the PCV valve from the clip that is attaching it to the two hoses going towards the rear of the engine?

Thanks,
Sean

Im sorry, I believe the "fuel" line is actually a coolant line. I am not totally sure, but regardless I still am having trouble removing the clip holding the PCV valve.

Thanks

Changed out pcv valve. Fuel trims are still high for bank 2. Can not find a vacuum leak anywhere, but I swear I hear a hissing. This is driving me nuts.

P0174 - System Too Lean (Bank 2)
See the description for DTC P0171. See the possible causes for DTC P0171

P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)
The adaptive fuel strategy continuously monitors the fuel delivery hardware. The test fails when the adaptive fuel tables reach a rich calibrated limit. Refer to Section 1 , Powertrain Control Software, Fuel Trim for more information.

Fuel System.
Fuel pressure regulator (leaking, faulty).
Fuel filter plugged, dirty.
Fuel pump (weak, check valve leaking).
Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors.
Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel.
EVAP canister purge valve leaking (when the canister is clean).
Fuel supply line restricted.
Fuel rail pressure sensor (incorrect reading).

Air Induction System.
Air leaks after the MAF.
Vacuum Leaks.
PCV system (leak or valve stuck open).
Improperly seated engine oil dipstick.

Exhaust System.
Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2Ss (exhaust manifold gasket, mating gaskets).

EGR system.
Vacuum hose disconnected on EGR System Module (ESM) applications.
EGR valve tube/gasket leak.
EVR solenoid vacuum leak.

Secondary Air Injection.
Damaged/malfunctioning secondary air injection system (mechanically stuck valve).

Air Measurement System.
MAF sensor (contaminated, damaged, or faulty).

I recently had that myself, I found the leak to be the rubber elbow on the passenger side just behind the oil fill cap.
